Holiday villa in Le Barroux, a beautiful village perched on a hill in Vaucluse, between Vaison-la-Romaine and Carpentras and nearby the starting areas for the climb to the Mont Ventoux. On the top, the impressive 12^th century castle of Le Barroux dominates the village with the most breathtaking panoramic view on the plain of Comtat Venaissin.

 

This large and high standing holiday villa, recently build ‘en pierre’ (traditional Provencal stonework) comprises four levels. Both the main living room and separate kitchen, situated on the second floor give access to a large roof terrace from where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the valley and all the surrounded villages such as Venasque and Caromb. As the villa comprises four floors with two kitchens  (and a summer kitchen), two living rooms and 5 bedrooms, two families or a group of friends can spend great holidays together and also having their own privacy.

 

The large summer kitchen with comfortable dining and sitting area situated on the ground floor give access to the terrace and swimming pool and is a perfect place to prepare your lunch in between the sunbathing. All bedrooms, two with their own roof terrace, are decorated with style and offer a high sleeping comfort. The owner’s eye for detail is not only shown with the exterior of the villa but also the interior is characteristic. You will be captivated by the traditional stonework of the kitchen, the toilet and the staircases with their secret angles and lovely arcades leading you to the different floors.

 

The holiday villa is perched on a hill at the border of the castle village with a garden enclosed by a traditional stone-made wall. On both sides two porches give access to the property, on the right side several cars can be parked a,d there is space to play the petanque. A row of olive trees decorate the terrace and the swimming pool from where you can enjoy full privacy.
