Holiday house in Saint-Pierre-de-Vassols, a charming little village in the Vaucluse at the foot of the Mont Ventoux. Saint-Pierre-de-Vassols is situated in an authentic part of Provence with a wonderful countryside nearby Bédoin – the starting place for cyclists to climb the ‘Giant of the Provence’, the Mont Ventoux. Several hiking tracks lead you through the most beautiful landscapes of rolling hills with vineyards and olive trees. You can also discover the medieval villages such as Crillon-le-Brave, Le Barroux and Caromb with their traditional Provencal markets. The lavender fields in the Drôme provençale and the more southern situated Luberon park are nearby.

This holiday accommodation of is a restored ‘cabanon de vignes’, a little house that was situated in the middle of the wine groves and was used in the past by winegrowers from Provence for having a little break during their working day and for putting tools. The spacious living room with its high ceiling and nice features like the wooden beams is located in the attached new part of the cabanon as well as one of the two bedrooms which has got a nice view of the cherry trees. In the original cabanon are located the bathroom with shower and the well equipped separate kitchen, provided with a table and two benches. You will appreciate the bedroom on the first floor of the cabanon as the owners tried to keep the authentic intimacy and atmosphere of the past but with the sleeping comfort of today.

The accommodation has an enclosed garden with a large terrace on the frontside of the house. The swimming pool is located in the back garden, surrounded by cherry trees where you can take a nice sunbath. The holiday house is located nearby the centre and has a good connection to Bédoin and Caromb.
