Holiday house in Carpentras nearby Avignon and the Mont Ventoux in the Vaucluse. Carpentras has the warmest temperatures of France during summer and here you can find the most sunny days of the year.

 

This accommodation, renovated in 2006, offers you the comfort for having a pleasant stay at the heart of Provence. The French doors give access to the holiday house with its separate dining area leading to the simple but well equipped open kitchen. The living room is provided with a sleeping couch, table, television and DVD player. Both spacious standard bedrooms offer good sleeping comfort.

 

The holiday house is located in the countryside of Carpentras, on a property of 1000m2 surrounded by a beautiful cherry grove with a great variety of cherries.  You can take as many cherries as you like! You better come to Provence during the months of May and June when the cherries are ready to eat! You will appreciate the surrounding lawn with its olive trees where you can take a sunbath on one of the sun beds and enjoy the wonderful aroma of the lavender. The shaded terrace is a lovely spot to have a good Provencal meal. The public swimming pool is just a 5 minutes’ walk!

 

The surroundings are beautiful with rolling hills covered with vineyards and olive and fruit trees. The lavender fields in Drôme provençale and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence are close by. There are several possibilities to discover this authentic part of Provence around the Mont Ventoux by bike. Hiking paths lead you to the most beautiful medieval villages, perched on a rock with a castle ruin and traditional Provencal markets. Whether you like a cultural, sportive or relaxation holiday, Provence is the perfect holiday destination!
