Your stay in one of the bedrooms of this high standing villa in Roussillon, one of the most beautiful villages of Provence - and even classified as one of the 100 most beautiful villages of France - will take your breath away. With its ochre colored houses some in yellow and orange, others in red coming from the surrounding ochre mountains also called ‘Colorado Provencal’, this village in Luberon is a breathtaking place you will not forget easily. You will be captivated by the sunset when the sunlight turns the mountain into a beautiful pallet of the most warm earth colors, a combination of golden-yellow, orange, red and brown hues.

You have a magnificent view from your bedroom, located on the first floor, of the ochre colored mountain top. Your host Lysianne created a little paradise. The spacious stylish bedroom shows a beautiful combination of contemporary and classic furnishings with different taints of grey which are perfectly matching. You’ll appreciate your hosts’ eye for decoration which you can see in the bedroom and the bathroom 'en suite' (with bath and double wash basin). The excellent quality bedding insures a high sleeping comfort.

The common small but cosy living room with a chic leather couch and armchair give access to the roof terrace from where you can enjoy a good glass of wine on the bistro chairs.

The 15000m2 property is situated in between the border of the village and the ochre mountains with its own hiking path along side it. Calmness and tranquility guaranteed. At the top is situated the villa, home to your host, that dominates the rolling garden with century old olive trees and several ‘salons de jardin’ where you can enjoy the Provencal life for a moment. You have your own access to the bedroom via the backside of the villa to insure your privacy and independance.

On one of the sun beds around the swimming pool (12x5m) you can take a sunbath. The pool house enjoys a summer kitchen, a lovely space to prepare your own lunch. In the evening Lysianne prepares the famous ‘table d’hôtes' and invites you to taste her delicious Provencal and contemporary meals.

If you still might thinking of leaving this little paradise for a day, don’t forget to visit Roussillon itself and the Colorado Provencal or the villages of Sault and Montbrun-les-Bains northwards and Banon in Alpes-de-Hautes-Provence with all the famous lavender fields. The charming towns of Gordes, Lacoste, Bonnieux and Ménerbes, are definitely worth visiting as well.
